Massimo Paolo Gentili

 

Massimo Paolo is a founding partner of Garlati Gentili & Partners, a consulting Office – associated with the international TMF Group – operating in the regulatory, fiscal, business and administrative sector.

Massimo Paolo took part in the floatation and has been chairman, till 2006, of Securities & Compliance srl, a TMF Group Company offering services and advice regarding internal control, compliance and risk management for financial intermediaries, insurance and listed companies.

 

A chartered accountant, Massimo Paolo holds a degree in Business Administration from “L. Bocconi” University of Milan. After serving initially at Coopers & Lybrand S.p.A., in 1995 he founded the company “Studio Garlati – Gentili” bringing his wide knowledge of the Italian regulatory system regarding banks, asset management companies, brokers and investment firms, acquired through his experience as administration manager of a SIM and of a trustee bank both of which belong to a pool of banks.

 

At present Massimo Paolo holds several positions in both national and international financial intermediaries, he deals with projects launching new financial intermediaries and joint ventures for financial companies; he has an in-depth knowledge of the Luxembourg and English market.

 

Massimo Paolo is registered on the Court Technical Consultants List of the Court of Justice of Milan as a chartered accountant specialized in “Banking and Stock Exchange techniques and company evaluation”.

 

He has published several articles in specialized journals such as “Banche e Banchieri”, “Bancaria”, “Mondo Hedge”, “Milano Finanza”, “Forum Fiscale - Il Sole 24 Ore”, “Contabilità, Finanza e Controllo”. He is co-author with Roberto Moro Visconti – Professor of Economics at the Catholic University of Milan - of “Come valutare gli intermediari finanziari” – published by Bancaria Editrice S.p.A. in 2005. He is also co-author with Orietta Nava – lawyer and head of the regulatory department of Garlati, Gentili & Partners – of the volume entitled “I gestori del risparmio: regole essenziali” - published by Bancaria Editrice S.p.A. in 2006.
